Sowing Seeds of Faith and Making Lasting Impressions
Where God’s Word and creativity come together through handcrafted stationery, greeting cards, watercolor, art journaling, and mixed media to share His love with purpose.
About Me

Hi, I’m Kristal- a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and artist behind Prayerfully Sent. As a Visual Communication Artist, I delight in living a Christ-centered, disciplined life while creating meaningful, handcrafted art. From stationery, greeting cards, mixed media, watercolor, fabric arts, to art journaling, each piece is prayerfully made to proclaim the Gospel and glorify Christ. Through my work, I aim to sow seeds of faith and make lasting impressions- encouraging others to delight in God’s Word, embrace their creative gifts, and boldly reflect the love of Christ through art. I believe every brushstroke, stitch, design, and written word is an opportunity to worship and share His love.
My Journey
My creative journey began during my husband’s time serving in the United States Marine Corps. In those seasons, I explored various art forms- writing in handcrafted journals, stationery, greeting cards, sewing, painting, and art journaling- as a personal outlet.
Living in Japan changed everything: it was there I came to know Jesus Christ and surrendered my life to Him.
As Acts 2:38 says: ” Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Though creativity had always been a part of me, it was my relationship with Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit that gave my work true meaning and purpose.
In 2018, I became seriously ill, and in 2019, I faced a life- threatening experience that deepened my faith and devotion to the Lord. He preserved my life, and since then, I have committed all that I am to Him. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, even everyday moments- whether sharing the Gospel, homeschooling, homemaking, or creating in my studio- have become meaningful opportunities to glorify Christ.
This revealed not only a deep passion for handmade stationery and greeting cards but also a calling to encourage other believers to use their gifts for the Gospel. I believe everyone knows someone who is lost, broken, or in need of encouragement- and handcrafted creations are a beautiful way to reach hearts for Christ. Now, I am expanding into watercolor painting, art journaling, and fabric arts, with the hope of passing these Christ-centered traditions on to my children and inspiring others to discover how their gifts can become tools for ministry.
My Mission
As a Visual Communication Artist, I am sowing seeds of faith and making lasting impressions by:
- Creating handcrafted stationery, greeting cards, mixed media, watercolor art, art journaling, and sewing projects with intention
- Encourage believers to delight in God’s Word and embrace their creative gifts as tools for ministry
- Equipping Christians to boldly proclaim His love through meaningful, handcrafted art
My prayer is that the Lord will use our hands as His own to draw hearts back to Him through the Gospel shared in our creations.
My Creative Philosophy
You are an artist. Repetition, consistency, and practice build both skill and character. Discipline- as Christians and as artists- produces lasting results. Be kind and gentle with yourself in the process, and allow yourself to enjoy the journey of growing creatively, especially during the uncomfortable moments that lead to transformation and healing.
My creative work is grounded in:
- Heart for Ministry Through Creativity- using art to serve and encourage
- Scripture- Centered Design- allowing God’s Word to inspire and guide every creation
- Accessibility and Encouragement – making creativity approachable for all skill levels
- Stewardship and Integrity- being faithful and transparent in all I do
- Serving Others with Excellence- offering my best as an act of worship
